The plant shall be able to operate at least 330 days/year it shall be capable of operating either at 40% or 110% of the rated capacity.
The plant shall use molten sulphur or solid sulfur as raw material with a single train of equipment, using double contact double absorption process. Using vanadium penta oxide as a catalyst, and should be based on the most technically and economically up-to date feasible process.
Sulfuric acid production including: solid sulfur storage, sulfur melting, sulfur burning, conversion, dry absorption, finish production,etc.
The by-product steam will be used to generate electric power or heating resources to bring better economic benefit. |
